Is getting a Six Sigma certification really valuable in theory and/or practice when it comes to getting/retaining a job? My company is making us all get green belts.
My last full time job, (Raytheon) hyped it to death, meetings were continuously held to discuss getting more managers qualified so they could be saddled with more whip-cracking responsibilities over the worker bees.
I guess if you want to move up, it’s an important "feather" to acquire for your job hat.
