Best quality program implementation guide,
I helped implement TQM (Total Quality Management) back in the 1990’s at an industrial manufacturing complex. We lived and breathed the principles and had quite a few success stories before the site was sold and new management style was introduced and TQM went out the door.
After that, quality assurance was relegated to a book on the shelf that we would point to when asked if we had a quality plan.
I left the site in 2000. Last week I used this book to prepare for an interview I had with another large company wanting to implement a quality program in a division that hasn’t ever really followed a real quality program.
I used this book to prep myself on TQM, Six Sigma and Lean and together with my real world experience I was able to ace the interview and secure the job.
