Why are the graduate chapter in Dallas not having "RUSH" for Delta Sigma Theta.?
I have been trying to become a member for 3 year now. I have been going to several event through out the years. I hold Master level degree, I am active in my community: Church event, BBBS. I also organized community workshop on how protect your money in this market. I have good jobs making a six figure salary. My family member who are AKA have been trying to get me to go that route but my heart is with DST. Any suggestion!!
There can be many reasons why the Dallas Alum chapter is not hosting a rush. Unlike undergrad chapters, there is not always a need to host a rush! I know one chapter in particular that hasn’t intake in over 10 years. Unlike undergrad chapters, as long as the grad chapter has plenty of members that are working hard for delta then at times there is no need for intake.
In the meantime, I would suggest that you continue to support this chapter because when and if the time comes and they have a rush, then they will remember your dedication to the chapter. So in a nutshell, there is really nothing you can do at this point regarding rush….It’s all left up to the chapter!
