What is the training required to became six sigma & lean manufacturing consultant?

These have both become "commercialized" with varying private companies offering "certification".

I am not a fan of these; for $3,000 you can effectively "buy" a certificate.

It doesn’t take "training" to become a good 6 sigma or lean expert, it takes "experience".

Just an opinion.
