Even a single loophole in the organization’s quality process will lead to failure of the whole process. This is exactly the reason for aligning the quality process for the service oriented CERG group with those of quality process at other divisions. The product quality and distribution problems cannot be mitigated or removed by initiating quality procedures in that division alone since CERG and DRE groups play an important role in the plant level issues. Therefore, if the internal consultants from these groups will not be quality conscious themselves, they will not be able to achieve the desired changes with respect to quality in these departments. Further, a total quality conscious team from CERG will be able to design quality focused new distribution facility in the North East only when they themselves observe highest standards in quality.
