Would you consider JIT production and total quality management to be relevant to total cost of ownership?
I know you can view TCO without JIT capability but can the reverse be true…can you have JIT and TQM without considering /adhering toTCO….just curious on opinions
Yes – JIT reduces the money you have tied up in inventory which is waiting to be used, and the plant space you are using up for no good reason.
and managing quality and how it affects costs is easy to see.
