Operations and Supply Chain Management for the 21st Century (with Printed Access Card)
Boyer/Verma’s breakthrough text meets today’s student and instructor’s needs and redefines the marketplace. Their text is briefer than most, taking all of the vital core concepts and building upon them with current and fresh examples. Great Operations Text,
I used this book in my operations class. Writing was clear and easy to folow. I really liked the examples from American Express and Sony since they are not the type of company I expected to read about in an operations class. Book felt more current than a lot of textbooks I use with many examples of iPods, Home Depot and relatively recent events. Quantitative material was explained in easy to follow examples with formulas that were understandable. My professor actually used most of the chapters in the book – no extra chapters like a lot of books – and it was cheaper than many other books. I wish more books wre this easy to read.
